I am the trainer behind Ascend Movement Training for Women, bringing a wealth of expertise in movement and training. As an avid hobbyist of running, skiing, hiking, and jiu jitsu, I understand firsthand the importance of maintaining strength and preventing injuries to enjoy these activities for years to come. My passion extends to supporting other hobbyist women and expectant mothers, having developed a comprehensive approach to training that focuses on safety, effectiveness, and personalization.

My unique training is designed to address the specific needs of each client, helping women maintain strength, improve movement, and support comfort in everyday life. Drawing from my own experience as someone who prioritizes staying healthy and strong for my active lifestyle, my training philosophy emphasizes the importance of proper form, breathing techniques, core strength and pelvic floor health - essential elements for both athletic pursuits and sharing these activities with our family, friends and children.

I create a supportive and empowering environment for my clients. I understand the physical and emotional changes that come with life and am committed to helping women feel confident and strong throughout their journey. My approach is influenced by my personal commitment to maintaining joint health and functional strength for long-term activity.

With my guidance, expectant mothers can look forward to a more comfortable pregnancy, a potentially smoother birthing experience, and a quicker postpartum recovery. Postpartum women can rebuild pelvic floor function and core strength, while women between pregnancies can optimize their bodies for future pregnancies and recoveries.
